Job Description
We are seeking a senior inspector for the Quality Inspection team at our Lufkin facility. The position is on‑site and full‑time.
Responsibilities
Lead quality inspections and ensure compliance with standards.
Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing products.
Identify and document non‑conformances and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with production teams to implement quality improvements.
Maintain inspection records and ensure adherence to industry standards.
Provide training and guidance on quality inspection procedures.
Qualifications
Proficiency with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, Go/No‑Go gauges) and ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills, including accurate completion of inspection reports and corrective‑action follow‑up.
Basic computer skills; comfortable using SAP and related systems.
Effective communication and teamwork, conveying findings to engineers, supervisors, and production staff.
Desired Skills
Familiarity with hardware produced to J‑STD‑001.
Time‑management and prioritization – handling multiple inspections while meeting production schedules.
Effective communication – clear, concise reporting of findings and collaboration with engineering and production.
