Summary

This position will provide mission critical, integrated, and operational support to the Senior & Executive Leadership team for the MDE Program. The Project Specialist will work directly with the Sr. Director of Programs and Vice Presidents to complete action items and tasks, including administrative support, human resource management, data analytics & audit support, presentation creation, plan development, event support, and individual requests from MDE leadership. The role acts as a liaison between Executive Leadership, Senior Leadership, and stakeholders involved in completing action items and tasks.
Duties and Functions

Assumes responsibility for accurate and efficient completion of action items and tasks.
Clearly understands and clarifies requests from Executive Leadership and Sr. Director of Program analytics.
Familiarizes with the business environment, key stakeholders, and general operations.
Leverages necessary skills to complete tasks independently and ensures they are seen through to fruition.
Works with stakeholders across the organization to complete tasks.
Identifies improvement areas and provides feedback to leaders.
Ensures work is free of errors and mistakes.
Oversees projects from start to finish.
Leverages ability to create presentations, reports, and other documents required to complete tasks.
Utilizes tools for data analysis, including advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Exercises effective consultative strategies to complete tasks.
Undertakes short-term or long-term projects to address various issues and needs.
Solve problems through recommendations and practical suggestions.
Brainstorms strategies for growth, positive change, and improvement.
Problem solves using critical thinking skills to uncover customized solutions.
Provides support to the Sr. Director of Program Analytics, Executive Leadership, and other MDE leaders.
Includes frequent check-ins with leadership.
Identifies opportunities for additional collaboration.
Evaluates each situation periodically and adjusts when needed.
Ensures key performance indicators are met.
Demonstrates independence and ownership of tasks with minimal guidance.
Oversees multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizes appropriately.
Partners with leadership to support at least five departments and/or programs.
Implements deliverables as directed by Leadership.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and develops positive working relationships.
Comfortable following up with stakeholders when action items are due or require input.
Collaborates with essential stakeholders across the organization, including Corporate and Field staff.

Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
Performs miscellaneous projects as assigned.
Education and Experience

Education: BA/BS in a related field (required).
Minimum of three years of administrative and/or program support experience in healthcare staffing, office management, or a similar healthcare environment.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, including coordinating multiple tasks concurrently.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

An indoor office space with proper lighting and a climate-controlled setting.
