Johnson RV is looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our fast-paced environment. It’s more than a Service Advisor role—we need an outstanding communicator with a natural positive attitude. A person who has a strong work ethic and values taking ownership of the customer experience. The successful candidate will feel comfortable greeting customers as they are scheduling appointments and acting as a liaison between customers and service technicians. This position is sales-minded and will handle a volume of work flow; candidates must be good at multitasking and shifting priorities as business needs dictate.
Responsibilities
Attitude is everything – greet service department customers promptly and courteously
Listen to each customer and clearly articulate needs to technician
Provide accurate estimates of repairs / maintenance costs
Follow up on repair status to efficiently inform customers
Work with manufacturer and file claims in timely manner
Notify customers when RV / trailer is ready for pick up
Review and explain repairs and associated costs with customers
Handle minor customer concerns and complaints
Keep Service Manager informed of all problems or potential problems
Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores in accordance with dealership standards
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior service advisor experience is a plus
Prior warranty claims submission is a plus
Dispatching, customer service experience a plus
Proven ability to achieve profitability and growth
Ability to set and meet goals
Meticulous attention to detail
High degree of problem-solving skill
Thrives in a team environment
Well-developed interpersonal skills. Ability to get along with diverse personalities. Tactful, mature.
Ability to be decisive and able to recognize and support the organization's preferences and priorities.
Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
Results oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations.
