Summary
Under general direction, manages project scoping, planning, funding, approval, and implementation. Works with staff and other stakeholders to plan and execute projects that support organizational priorities while ensuring timely completion.
Responsibilities
Coordinates and manages projects, adhering to project management standards and using prescribed tools and documents to coordinate and manage projects. Manage scope, prioritize client priorities and expectations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Tracks day-to-day activities to ensure projects are completed on time, in a manner consistent with organizational goals, policies, and requirements.
Coordinates assigned staff in planning, design, and implementation of highly complex projects. Manages task integration and deliverable reviews.
Serves as the lead contact for internal and external customers on assigned projects. Forecasts resource needs and secures skilled staff from resource managers in advance.
Develops budgets and tracks invoicing as appropriate. Communicates project requirements and commitments to clients, ANTHC staff, and management (verbal and written).
Participates with other project managers in standards development, educational sessions, and process improvement projects. Publishes and maintains status reports, communication plans, and risk plans consistent with ANMC standards.
Conducts project meetings and performs project tracking analysis and budget oversight.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Project Manager I
Assists in the development of project scope, objectives, and detailed work plans with milestones and assigned responsibilities.
Project Manager II
Leads the development of project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans with milestones and responsibilities. Serves as the lead contact for internal and external customers on assigned projects and provides matrix supervision.
Project Manager III
Provides strong project leadership and motivates teams to achieve goals. Leads development of project scope and objectives and detailed work plans. Acts as lead contact for internal/external customers and communicates with senior management. Provides matrix supervision and mentorship within the department.

Knowledge and proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
Knowledge of project management methodologies for complex healthcare projects

Minimum Education Qualification
Project Manager I, II, III
Bachelor’s Degree in project management or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum Experience Qualification
Project Manager I: Non-supervisory four (4) years of relevant project management experience
Project Manager II: Non-supervisory seven (7) years of relevant experience
Project Manager III: Non-supervisory ten (10) years of relevant experience
Minimum Certification Qualification
Project Manager I: N/A
Project Manager II, III: Relevant industry-related certification/licensure; four additional years of project management experience may substitute for certification
Preferred Education/Experience/Certification
Preferred Experience: Healthcare operations, data and analytics, and/or IT in a healthcare environment
Preferred Certification: Project Management Professional
