Logos Operations Manager

Our Georgia Interstate Logos office in Norcross, GA is now hiring an Operations Manager I to organize and oversee field operations related to the Interstate Logo signing and Tourist‑oriented Directional Sign (TODS) and Agritourism programs. This first‑line manager is responsible for maintaining safe structures, equipment, and construction yards.

Responsibilities

Oversee the maintenance of safe structures, equipment, and construction yards.

Oversee the vetting, interviewing and hiring of construction personnel.

Develop and submit new site plans for DOT review.

Provide direct oversight of construction and logo installer crews, including regular field visits for construction, traffic control and safety quality control.

Order, beam, signs, overlay and parts as needed.

Maintain portal updates and track all field work.

Develop weekly/daily crew lists that include layouts and materials needed lists.

Perform minor sign maintenance and site clearing.

Update and complete all required sign inspections annually.

Work a minimum 40‑hour / 5‑day schedule, arriving in the office by 8:00 a.m.

Travel overnight when necessary.

Qualifications

Working knowledge of personal computers, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) for preparing business correspondence and spreadsheets.

Ability and willingness to learn Visio or other computer‑assisted drawing programs.

Experience with maintenance oversight of construction equipment.

Excellent organizational skills; setting priorities that accurately reflect the importance of job responsibilities.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to establish rapport, encourage others professionally, and listen perceptively.

Skill in mediating between parties and groups.

Skill in working as part of a team, collaborating with employees, and maintaining good working relationships.

Skill in managing, including organizing objectives, delegating, training, evaluating subordinates, and administering necessary discipline.

Ability to understand and operate within a set budget.

Detailed knowledge of inventory/market and obstacles of each structure in the market.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; college degree preferred.

Valid driver’s license.

Minimum 2 years of relevant Operations or construction experience.

An annual salary range of $47,500 – $52,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Primary work environments: office, outdoors, and vehicle.

Work includes controlled and non‑controlled access roadways.

Maintain a professional appearance and ensure company vehicle is neat and professional.

Physical demands include lifting (20 to 50 lbs.), pushing, reaching, seeing (reading, color distinction, acuity, peripheral vision, depth perception), some sitting, standing, stooping, walking, talking, climbing, and turning.

Nights spent traveling are 15% to 35% of total work time.
