
Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

As a Senior Analyst at Cosm, you will be a data generalist responsible for driving insights across multiple facets of the business, including Finance, Pricing, Marketing, Product, Programming, and Sales. You’ll own deep‑dive analyses, build reporting frameworks, and partner directly with leaders to answer strategic business questions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, business problem‑solving, and storytelling with data.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to scope and deliver analyses that influence strategic and operational decisions.
Design and build recurring reports and ad‑hoc analyses across finance, marketing, programming, and product domains.
Develop data‑driven recommendations for pricing strategies, audience insights, and revenue optimization.
Work closely with BI Developers to ensure reporting aligns with business logic and stakeholder needs.
Contribute to the development of KPI frameworks and performance dashboards.
Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in clear, compelling narratives.
Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team‑wide best practices in analytics.
Qualifications
4–6 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or strategy roles.
Strong SQL skills; experience with Databricks or other cloud data platforms preferred.
Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau preferred).
Comfort working with large, complex datasets and applying statistical techniques when needed.
Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data findings to real‑world business impact.
Excellent storytelling, presentation, and communication skills.
Experience in ticketed entertainment, media, or hospitality industries is a plus.
The annualized base salary range for this position in California is $105,000 – $120,000. The base salary offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.
