Digital Services Manager – US Delivery Operations
We are seeking a seasoned, strategic, and process-oriented Digital Services Manager to lead our US delivery operations. This senior leader will be accountable for the operational efficiency of technology functions, the financial health of digital projects that feed into the Practice P&L, and the enablement of a high‑performing local and global team.
Strategic Leadership & Operational Planning
Implement the strategic direction for technology operations to align with US and global business objectives.
Develop and execute approved strategies to enhance delivery capabilities, ensuring integration with the Gallagher Guide Roadmap.
Drive operational planning by adopting industry best practices and process improvements to optimize efficiency.
Financial Governance & P&L Management
P&L Accountability: Ensure the US team optimizes the ability to meet sales targets and financial KPIs.
Financials/Pricing: Oversee pricing for digital services and ensure all projects are tracking strictly to budget to prevent financial leakage.
Budget Forecasting: Support budget forecasting and financial reporting for US client delivery.
Process Governance & QA Standards
Governance Frameworks: Enforce robust process governance to standardize how projects are sold, scoped, and executed.
QA Standards: Enforce quality assurance standards to maintain high‑level technical output and mitigate delivery risks.
Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and resolve roadblocks to maintain timelines and quality standards.
Resource Management & Tech Operations
Team Support: Provide direct leadership and operational support for the US‑based team (including Digital Consultants and US developers).
Utilization: Optimize team utilization and balance workloads to ensure seamless operational delivery.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with Global Teams, the Head of Technology, and Creative/UX Directors to ensure cross‑functional alignment.
Act as the primary point of contact for senior US leaders, providing metrics on performance and resource requirements.
Experience and Expertise
Extensive experience in technology operations with a proven track record of managing complex projects and P&Ls.
In‑depth knowledge of procurement processes and cost management.
Proficiency in Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
Leadership & Technical Skills
Exceptional talent development abilities with a focus on fostering a collaborative, high‑performance culture.
Process‑driven mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Advanced skills in risk mitigation and resource optimization.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
At least 5 years of data analysis experience (information systems, data analysis, and reporting).
Experience with SAS programming and SQL Server.
Demonstrated project management skills.
