About The Role
As a Consultant on our M&A, Activism & Governance team, you will be at the forefront of high-impact, fast-paced engagements—developing a deep understanding of each client’s business, market, and communications strategy across investor relations, public relations, and public affairs. You’ll take a hands‑on role in integrated communications efforts, ensuring clarity and precision in deliverables, strategy, and execution. Whether drafting stakeholder communications, crafting social content, refining investor materials, or engaging with media under strategic guidance, you will be a key player in helping clients navigate complex, high‑stakes scenarios. You will also collaborate with cross‑functional experts—from legal and financial advisors to proxy specialists—to deliver thoughtful, well‑rounded solutions.

What You’ll Do

Have a thorough understanding of each client’s business, market, investment thesis, culture and communications practices across IR, PR and Public Affairs

Work with reporters on behalf of clients, as directed

Collaborate with equivalent practitioners from legal, financial and proxy advisers, as directed

Remain flexible to adapt to supporting the account needs

Work with colleagues in other practices to ensure the execution of a cohesive, multi‑disciplinary communications program

Support the development of the practice itself by being an enthusiastic partner, staying up to speed on emerging best practices, demonstrating creativity in how the team can evolve and helping the team stay informed on competitor activity

Assist with identifying opportunities and proactively initiating efforts to market the practice through thought leadership, research, prospecting or networking
