Positions in this function conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning. They support short and long term operational/strategic business activities by developing, enhancing, and maintaining operational information and models. The Enterprise Resilience and Security Office (ESRO) Orbit BI Sr Analyst will be the subject matter expert (SME) ensuring ESRO databases, ETL processes, and data resources are maintained. They also develop and implement effective strategic business solutions through use of Orbit dashboards, Tableau, and other industry standard reporting.

If you are located in MN or DC, you will have the flexibility to work remotely*, as well as work in the office as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities

Metrics and Reporting Lead for ESRO CIRT (Cyber Incident Response Team): ensure robust reporting capabilities as part of Metrics and Reporting transformation.

Analyzing security incident data, identifying trends, and delivering actionable insights through advanced data visualization and reporting.

Solid analytical skills, experience with BI tools, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful dashboards and reports for stakeholders.

Job Scope And Levelling Guidelines

Data analysis and insights, visualization & reporting.

Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, Tableau, AWS Quicksight.

Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.

Ensure data visualizations are clear, accurate, and aligned with business objectives.

Dashboard design.

Serve as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues.

Solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions.

Perform complex conceptual analyses.

Review work performed by others and provide recommendations for improvement.

Provide explanations and information to others on the most complex issues.

Motivate and inspire other team members.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.

Required Qualifications

4+ years of Excel intermediate to advanced skill.

3+ years working in a production support environment.

2+ years Power BI admin and development experience.

2+ years of experience with relational databases, database structures and design, systems design, data management, data warehouse.

Experience in automation and PowerShell scripting to build infrastructure for automation.

Enterprise scale Power BI, design, development, implementation, and dashboard maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of Azure support.

Microsoft Certification(s): Power BI Data Analyst Associate PL-300 and/or PL-600 Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.

2+ years of experience with relational databases, database structures and design, systems design, data management, and data warehouse.

Experiences in BI, Data warehousing architecture and implementations.
