Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team seeks a skilled Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet customers" technical and business objectives. The role drives customer success throughout the cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor"s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience with the software development lifecycle from conception to delivery
Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects
5+ years of external or internal customer‑facing, complex and large‑scale project management experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre‑sales environments
Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments
Experience with databases such as SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and Kinesis
Experience with automation or scripting languages like Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, or Shell
Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
Experience with AWS data/file transfer services such as AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), or AWS DataSync
Benefits and Compensation
Base salary ranges (USD annually):
USA, CO, Denver – 153,600.00 – 207,800.00
USA, VA, Arlington – 153,600.00 – 207,800.00
USA, VA, Herndon – 153,600.00 – 207,800.00
USA, WA, Seattle – 153,600.00 – 207,800.00
The compensation package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
