Role Summary
The primary role of the Logistics Specialist (LS) involves loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and/or timely customer delivery, including the unloading and staging of products at the customer’s business location. The LS represents TireHub professionally in all customer interaction and maintains safe driving practices, delivering exceptional customer service and fostering strong customer relationships.
Compensation and Schedule
This position has a starting wage of $20 per hour with guaranteed increases of $2.00 over your first year of employment with TireHub.
Monday through Saturday – fluctuating day shift hours.

This position reports to an Assistant TLC Leader.

Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for distribution of tasks including general warehousing, delivery services, and vehicle maintenance
Adjustments to these allocations are made as business needs evolve
Loads, unloads, inspects, and tallies tires to and from transport vehicles (trailer trucks/box trucks/delivery vans)
Follows TireHub safety standards with respect to selecting, packing, counting, labeling, and palletizing customer orders and positions them in designated locations using the bin locator system
Operates equipment such as forklifts, order pickers and pallet jacks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
Conducts and participates in cycle counts, tallies, and labeling as part of inventory control procedures
Collects payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions
Ensures vehicles remain clean and in good mechanical/physical condition
Conducts pre/post-trip vehicle inspections daily and immediately reports any operational issues or mechanical defects
Completes necessary driver and vehicle maintenance logs regularly
Ensures compliance with all TireHub policies and procedures
Participates in ongoing training through in-class, in-person, or computer-based learning modules
Completes other tasks assigned by their Supervisor or another member of leadership

Requirements
At least 1 year of general work experience
Valid driver’s license
Minimum of 2 years of driving history with a valid driver’s license
Must be 19 years old or older
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift, pull, push and move tires up to 50 lbs repeatedly
Frequent bending, twisting and lifting
Multitask in a fast-paced environment
Accurately load, unload and place tires in warehouse and delivery vehicles
Work up to 35 feet above ground-level
Work up to 8 hours per day on a forklift
Follow traffic rules and drive TireHub vehicles to deliver tires to customer locations
Work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with Manifest, GPS and navigation systems
Must maintain forklift certification and a valid driver’s license
Working Conditions
Required to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires (up to 50 lbs or greater) with or without mechanical assistance; standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crawling, climbing and balancing may be required
May handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment
Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception
Work in non-climate-controlled warehouses or customer locations
Extended day, evening, and weekend work may be required
Driving during night or in inclement weather may be required
Physical compatibility with equipment; accommodations reviewed under applicable laws
