Sunrise Detox – Counselor Position
Sunrise Detox is a premiere center for drug and alcohol detox. We promise one of the most comfortable medical detox processes available, ensuring a dignified road to recovery. Clients reside in comfortable, modern, elegantly furnished rooms, where good nutrition is an essential part of the detoxification process. We offer individual and group counseling and provide 12‑step meetings to show clients they are not alone once they leave treatment.
Duties/Responsibilities
New patient intake and orientation
Facilitates orientation groups with patients
Conducts group sessions for all patients
Addresses patient’s concerns and helps eliminate the possibility of AMA
Provides case management
Documents in patient medical record
Requirements
Minimum one‑year experience in substance‑abuse field, detox preferred
Experience conducting group sessions
Must hold CASAC, CASAC II, CASAC Advanced, or LMSW credentials
Flexibility and willingness are great attributes
Compensation
$24.00 – $33.65 per hour, competitive with experience and location
Schedule
Full‑time; four shifts per week (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
One weekend shift per week required
