Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and proactive Wheelchair Supervisor to lead our airport mobility assistance team. In this role, you will oversee daily wheelchair operations, ensuring passengers with mobility needs receive safe, timely, and respectful service throughout the airport. This position requires strong leadership, quick decision‑making, and the ability to manage a fast‑paced, high‑traffic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support a team of wheelchair attendants across terminals and gates
Coordinate assignments to ensure on‑time assistance for arrivals, departures, and connections
Monitor flight schedules and adjust staffing to meet demand
Ensure compliance with airport regulations, safety standards, and ADA guidelines
Handle passenger concerns and provide excellent customer service
Train, coach, and evaluate team members
Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift documentation
Communicate effectively with airline staff, TSA, and airport operations teams
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred
Experience in airport operations, transportation, or customer service is a plus
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast‑paced environment
Must be able to safely assist passengers and push wheelchairs for extended periods
Must pass background check and comply with airport security requirements
