What You’ll Do
As Logistics Supervisor, you’ll be the driving force behind our daily distribution operations, leading teams to achieve operational excellence while developing future leaders.
Operational Leadership
Daily Distribution Management
Oversee all distribution center operations, including receiving, picking, loading, shipping, will‑call, and customer service
Ensure efficient workflows, process adherence, accurate inventory control, and optimized productivity metrics
Coordinate daily operations with drivers, warehouse associates, and cross‑functional teams to ensure on‑time, accurate delivery
Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and space utilization
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma or similar methodologies
Monitor KPIs, analyze performance gaps, and execute corrective action plans
Team Leadership & Development
Talent Management & People Development
Recruit, train, coach, and develop warehouse staff while conducting performance evaluations and ongoing feedback
Establish clear performance standards, accountability, and training programs
Authority to recommend and implement disciplinary actions in partnership with Human Resources

Conduct safety inspections, incident investigations, and corrective action implementation

Minimum 3 years of logistics or distribution management experience
Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience

Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
Capable of standing, walking, and being on the warehouse floor for extended periods
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as operational needs require

Previous fleet management experience with DOT compliance knowledge

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
Experience in building materials, lumber, or the wholesale distribution industry
