Pay
$28/hr – $32/hr (full-time, non-exempt)

3:30 pm – 12:00 am, Monday–Friday
Position Summary
Conducts visual and dimensional inspections of products, materials, and tooling across all work centers to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements. This role documents non-conformities, supports production personnel, verifies final inspection kits, and assists in internal audits. Additionally, the inspector may train or guide others in inspection procedures and tools.
Responsibilities
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of Sekisui Aerospace and supplier-produced products, materials, and tooling in all work centers.
Document non-conformities on company rejection tags and inspection pick‑up forms.
Provide information and assistance to production and supervisory personnel.
Verify kits in final inspection before shipping.
Document compliance with customer purchase order requirements.
Provide training and/or assistance to other inspectors in the use of procedures or tools.
Prepare and execute internal audits. Provide internal audit report.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced blueprint reading skills.
Able to use hand inspection tools (calipers, 6″ scales, height gauge, etc.).
Advanced math aptitude.
Able to support inspection functions in multiple work centers.
Knowledge of industry record keeping procedures and best practices.
Familiar with digital, electronic inspection media.
Interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in a diverse workforce.
Analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify root cause, and suggest corrective and continuous improvement actions.
Experience
One to three years of quality inspection experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
Lean Manufacturing experience.
Knowledgeable in autoclaves and/or ovens.
Working Conditions
Usually work indoors. These sites may not be temperature controlled.
Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
Exposure to hazardous equipment.
Exposure to contaminants.
Shared workspaces with other employees.
Requires handling objects of up to 50 lbs.
Lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending.
Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift, and overtime).
Required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Ear plugs — earmuffs
Full face shield
Gloves (latex, rubber, chemical‑resistant, general duty)
Protective apron
Respirator
Safety glasses — safety goggles
