Description
The role involves supporting the development and maintenance of a cloud-based data repository. This position will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions. The individual will work closely with teams to ensure data integrity, security, and performance. This position will also be responsible for developing system requirements and onboarding new data sources.
Required Qualifications and Skills
The role requires direct experience in warehouse design, development, modeling, support, and operations utilizing Snowflake for at least three years. Candidates must have at least five years of experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) Server 2012 or later. Experience and conceptual understanding of data integration tools and technologies such as Microsoft SSIS and RDBMS concepts and methods are necessary. A strong understanding of data modeling and ETL processes is also required, along with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential. A preferred qualification is a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health and/or a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields, with consideration for related technical certifications and/or work experience. Significant experience in public health or in the analysis of health data is also preferred.
