Process Operator – Direct Hire
Location: Vidalia, LA.

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.

Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (4–10 hour days).

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

5+ years of experience in process operations or industrial plant environments

Strong mechanical, electrical, and process troubleshooting skills

Ability to read technical diagrams and instrumentation documentation

OSHA experience and strong safety compliance background

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to work independently and in team environments

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 50 lbs frequently (up to 100 lbs assisted)

Stand, walk, climb stairs, and work at heights for extended periods

Work in indoor and outdoor environments in all weather conditions

Wear full PPE, including chemical protective gear when required

Key Responsibilities

Follow all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and Safe Work Instructions (SWI)

Monitor plant conditions to ensure safe and efficient operations

Report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly

Perform daily inspections and support housekeeping standards

Operate forklifts and related material handling equipment as required

Work in confined spaces and at heights when necessary

Read and interpret OEM manuals, SDS documents, P&IDs, and control diagrams

Conduct troubleshooting and support process optimization initiatives

Participate in risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety training

Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives

Assist with QA/QC compliance and process reliability improvements

Mentor and support team members to improve technical capability
