ITG Communications is hiring for Project Manager, Muscle Shoals, AL. The Project Manager – Construction is responsible for managing day-to-day activities on assigned fiber, utility, or infrastructure construction projects. This role supports the full project lifecycle from planning and coordination to execution and closeout, working under the guidance of senior leadership and in partnership with internal teams and external vendors.
Responsibilities
Manage construction project scope, schedule, and resources in alignment with company and client expectations
Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, inspectors, and permitting entities to keep work on track
Monitor job progress and resolve issues related to timeline, materials, or resource availability
Ensure all work complies with safety protocols, local regulations, and engineering designs
Track project expenses, change orders, and documentation for reporting and billing
Communicate regularly with Senior Project Manager, Director of Operations, and client stakeholders
Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly project reports, job logs, and schedule updates
Support job site visits and quality control checks as required
Assist with project forecasting, manpower planning, and procurement coordination

Project completion against budget and schedule
Accuracy of reporting and documentation
Compliance with permitting, environmental, and safety requirements
Stakeholder communication and responsiveness
Reduction in change orders and rework
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted
Experience:
3–5 years of experience managing construction or fiber-related projects
Familiarity with construction management software, schedules, and permitting
Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
Exposure
Internal: Works with field crews, operations leadership, safety, permitting, and finance
External: Interfaces with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and client representatives
Frequent site visits and travel to project locations required

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for materials or equipment transport
Visual acuity to review construction documents and field data
Must hold a valid driver’s license and travel as needed
