Project Manager / Estimator - Heavy Civil Construction

Salary Range:
$120,000 - $160,000 (DOE)
A well‑established heavy civil general contractor is seeking a
Project Manager / Estimator
to support both preconstruction and active project delivery across a range of infrastructure and civil construction projects in the Puget Sound region. This role offers a balanced mix of estimating responsibilities and project oversight, working closely with field operations and leadership.
Experience Needed
5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction as a Project Manager, Estimator, or combined PM/Estimator
Experience delivering and/or estimating projects involving earthwork, utilities, roadway, site development, or public works
Proven background preparing competitive bids, budgets, and cost forecasts
Experience managing projects from award through close‑out, including subcontractor coordination and cost control
Familiarity with public agency, municipal, or DOT work preferred
Qualifications Needed
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents
Proficiency with estimating and project controls software such as HeavyBid, Agtek, Bluebeam, Excel, and Procore
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to work collaboratively with estimating, field, and executive teams
