Trevor's is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced General Manager to run one of our retail liquor stores. As the General Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store while meeting goals, setting policies, and supervising employees. As the GM, you will have a wide range of responsibilities to keep up with the demands of a busy retail environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of large retail store
Design strategies and set goals for growth
Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
Set and enforce policies and processes
Ensure employee productivity and professionalism
Oversee recruitment, training, and scheduling of employees
Evaluate and improve operations and performance
An essential function of the job is the ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business including opening/closing shifts weekends and holidays
Focus on hospitality while assisting and educating customers on the brand and products
Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
Resolve employee and customer issues alike
Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience as a General Manager or experience in a similar role
Industry knowledge and retail experience
Strong hospitality background
Experience in planning and budgeting
Knowledge of business process and functions
Strong analytical ability
Excellent communication skills
Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
Problem-solving aptitude
Exceptional customer service skills
