TREE REMOVAL CREW LEADER / FOREMAN
Role Purpose
The Crew Leader is responsible for jobsite leadership, safety enforcement, crew coordination, and customer experience.
Core Responsibilities
Lead daily job briefings, JSAs, and EAPs
Enforce all safety rules without exception
Assign tasks and manage workflow
Communicate professionally with customers
Inspect vehicles, equipment, and PPE daily
Ensure quality workmanship and cleanup standards
Complete daily reports and documentation
Safety Expectations
Authority to stop work immediately
Zero tolerance for unsafe acts
Accountability for crew safety and behavior
Equipment & Authority
Equipment and vehicle inspection authority
Authorization to remove unsafe equipment from service
Issued company phone/tablet (if applicable)
Professional Standards
Leadership by example
Clear, respectful communication
Consistent enforcement of standards
Advancement Path
