Position Summary
The Outdoor Services Specialist is a hands‑on field position responsible for performing a variety of outdoor property maintenance and enhancement services. This role requires reliability, physical endurance, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently across multiple job sites per day. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and understands that every property we touch represents the KILEY brand.
Key Responsibilities
Perform lawn mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing for residential and commercial properties
Execute spring and fall cleanups, including leaf removal, bed maintenance, and debris hauling
Assist with mulching, planting, and seasonal landscape enhancements
Load, transport, and properly dispose of yard waste at designated disposal sites
Operate and maintain equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools
Ensure job sites are left clean, professional, and to KILEY standards upon completion
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors throughout the workday
Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Support snow removal and winter services operations as needed during off‑season months
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while on client properties
Qualifications
Valid Michigan driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Experience with commercial lawn care equipment preferred; training available for the right candidate
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and dependability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic understanding of landscaping practices and seasonal property care
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs regularly and perform repetitive physical tasks
Comfortable operating trucks and trailers (experience towing preferred)
