Position Summary
Own and lead the North America supply planning process for key food product lines, translating demand forecasts into an executable, optimized supply strategy. This role is responsible for mid‑to‑long‑term capacity planning, network optimization, and scenario modeling, while ensuring alignment between strategic IBP plans and plant‑level execution.
The Supply Chain Planning Manager plays a critical role in driving cross‑functional decision‑making, balancing service, cost, and inventory, and enabling the organization to respond effectively to changing business conditions.
Responsibilities
Lead effective IBP mid/long‑term supply plan:
Rough‑cut capacity plan, network planning, scenario modeling, engagement with operations, variance analysis, and communication of supply–demand gaps.
Ensure external supplier alignment to IBP supply/demand plan:
Oversee supplier planning activities; translate supply plans into procurement requirements; partner with suppliers on capacity, lead times, and material availability; conduct root‑cause analysis on supply disruptions.
Drive supply chain excellence:
Deliver inventory, service delivery, and cost targets; analyze KPI results and improvement opportunities; communicate status and opportunities across organizational levels.
Planning and inventory strategies and execution:
Develop and implement strategies to optimize cost, service, and output using planning strategies (M‑to‑O, M‑to‑S, A‑to‑O) and inventory strategies (ABC analysis, lead‑time & service regression analysis).
Actively support global business and supply chain initiatives:
Support the development and implementation of key global initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management or Bachelor of Business Administration required; Master of Business preferred.
Professional supply chain certification (APICS, CPIM, or CSCP) preferred.
Minimum 5 years’ experience with ERP (MPS/MRP) and advanced planning (SAP ECC/APO, S4hana/IBP); SAP experience strongly preferred.
Strong leadership skills (3‑5 years) with demonstrated ability to drive change management and large‑scale process change.
Ability to influence others based on empirical evidence to support decision‑making.
Embrace ambiguity and willingness to take calculated risks based on thoughtful cost/benefit analysis.
Effective communication skills at multiple levels, including executive presentation skills.
Experience applying Lean manufacturing concepts, black belt and/or value stream mapping, inventory management strategies, and root‑cause analysis.
Travel up to 15%.
Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $93,000 – $160,655.
The range disclosed complies with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Offers within this range will be determined by considering relevant factors including education, experience, and internal alignment. This position may also be eligible for annual performance bonuses and other incentive programs.
