We specialize in aluminum framing, windows, storefront, curtainwall, and entrance systems, with capabilities including design, engineering, extrusion, finishing, fabrication and assembly across North America. Position Summary
The Client Services Project Coordinator is responsible for managing assigned projects from pre-award through full life cycle, execution of scope commitments, and post-award activities. The role includes providing timely client service communication (verbal and written) to stakeholders and following project-specific margins and processes.
Responsibilities
Customer Service
Provide client-focused service, prioritizing client needs and creating a personalized experience.
Actively listen, resolve client problems by taking ownership and following up through completion.
Understand client/project needs and explain requirements/solutions.
Create meaningful interactions that solve problems, build trust, and forge lasting client relationships.
Provide concise and actionable information to internal and external clients.
Proactively reach out to clients regarding issues such as backorders, schedule moves, and upcoming approvals.
Order Planning / Processing
Review purchase orders to estimates to ensure information is executable and accurate.
Coordinate and track requests for information (RFI’s) to maintain project information completeness and accuracy.
Manage scope changes through change orders to ensure billable material and services.
Coordinate completion of architectural metals order processing milestones to ensure on-time orders.
Load Planning / Logistics
Assist manufacturing and shipping as needed.
Communicate schedule revisions and back orders to clients, verbally or in writing.
Compliance / Process / Procedures
Maintain order files per guidelines and naming structures.
Follow Architectural Metals processes to ensure compliance with company policies.
Education, Experience & Skills
Associate degree and/or 3+ years related experience.
Experience
Experience in managing projects in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Continuous Improvement (CI) training is a plus.
Commercial construction experience is a plus.
Resolving client concerns.
Required Skills
Customer service skills.
Time management.
Thorough knowledge of ERP software.
Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams) with emphasis on Excel.
Good verbal and written communication skills; active listening.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Communicates information that is accurate, objective, and fact-based.
Work Environment / Travel & Physical Requirements
Occasional travel related to other sites, corporate, or project sites – Less than 25%.
Physical: ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments; lift up to 10 lbs.
