Position Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical Operations Manager for the Independent Division. This role oversees inventory, production, costing, and systems while ensuring operational efficiency and financial performance. This individual will manage a team of 3–4 members, partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and IT, and serve as a key liaison to international teams in Asia. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, a solid understanding of ERP systems (Navision), and prior experience working with jewelry manufacturers.
Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the Independent Division, including direct management of three to four team members.
Collaborate cross-functionally and interface with international teams on costing, pricing, invoicing, and production.
Maintain inventory levels across all programs and locations.
Oversee production timelines, including loose diamond needs and factory coordination.
Oversee physical inventories and ensure accuracy.
Analyze inventory reports to address shortages, excess, and discontinued items.
Oversee inventory lifecycle processes, including disposition and metal recovery.
Ensure accuracy of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and costing data.
Maintain and update pricing matrices and customer pricing.
Review costing initiatives and resolve vendor discrepancies.
Ensure tariffs, duties, and system integrations are accurate.
Maintain customer account data and approve sales orders and pricing.
Coordinate monthly billing and ensure accuracy.
Perform gross profit analysis and process adjustments (returns, credits, repairs).
Partner with IT to resolve system issues and support enhancements.
Develop and maintain reports to track performance and identify issues.
Utilize advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Experience & Skills

Strong leadership and organizational skills.
ERP system experience (Navision or similar preferred).
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
Experience with inventory, production, and costing processes.
Knowledge of diamonds and precious stones is a plus.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of relevant operations or inventory management experience.
Jewelry or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
