We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Mid-Level Automotive Technician
to join our service team in Mill Hall PA. The ideal candidate will have; Minimum 3 years of professional shop experience, Able to diagnose and repair a variety of automotive issues, from brake jobs to engine diagnostics. This position is ideal for someone who has moved beyond entry-level work and is ready to handle more complex tasks, while continuing to grow in the automotive field.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, fluid flushes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Conduct repairs on brakes, suspension systems, cooling systems, exhausts, and more.
Assist in diagnosing and repairing engine and transmission problems under the supervision of senior technicians.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Inspect vehicles for safety and performance issues.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members.
Follow all safety protocols and shop procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain within a set timeframe).
Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and tools.
Ability to read and interpret service manuals and repair documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
PA Safety Inspection License.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
