Per Diem / Variable Shifts
Roles & Responsibilities
A PET/CT Technologist works with the Medical Imaging leadership and medical director to develop operating policies and procedures, performs diagnostic PET/CT exams within established guidelines, and covers other modalities within molecular imaging as needed (General & Cardiac Nuclear Medicine). Serves as a role model and resource within the department.
Qualifications
Minimum of an Associate’s degree through an accredited Nuclear Medicine program or completion of formal military or hospital-based Nuclear Medicine program required. BA or BS degree preferred.
ARRT(N) or NMTCB required. Annual renewal of ARRT or NMTCB required by Overlake Hospital, with evidence of same by primary source verification.
ARRT(CT) or NMTCB (CT) registration required.
State Certification as Radiologic Technologist required. Biannual renewal of RT state license required by DOH and Overlake Hospital, with evidence of same by primary source verification.
Healthcare Level CPR required upon hire.
Two years nuclear medicine experience required. PET experience preferred.
