Sodexo’s growing Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Division is seeking a

Biomedical Equipment Technician 1

to support Healthcare Technology Management services at

Lowell General Hospital

located in

Lowell, MA .

What You’ll Do

Perform scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs on a variety of biomedical equipment.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure equipment functionality and patient safety.

Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and performance testing.

Collaborate with clinical staff to understand equipment issues and deliver excellent customer support.

Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards related to healthcare technology management.

Assist in the installation and calibration of new equipment.

Basic understanding of electronics, mechanical systems, and biomedical equipment principles.

Associate degree in electronics, biomedical technology, or a related field (or currently enrolled in a relevant program).

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment and/or equivalent of military BMET program and/or AAMI certified.
