We’re looking for a full‑time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the New Milford, CT area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.
About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician
Automotive Alignment Technicians use the latest equipment to align newly‑mounted tires and wheels on customer vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our technicians reduce customer tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis’s Alignment Technicians also complete state‑mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs.

Qualifications
To be eligible for this position you must be at least 18 years of age, legally authorized to work in the United States, and possess at least 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the role. A state inspection license is preferred.
As an active position, the role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching and performing repeated movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Technicians must regularly lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
