Overview
The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible for delivering competent nursing care as demonstrated by the nursing process. The RN applies standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching and health promotion, evaluation) and professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence‑based practice, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, environmental health). The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards required by specific clinical areas.
Education
Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) or MSN (preferred)
Students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program
Certification & Licensure
Registered nursing License (required)
Students in the process of obtaining a Registered Nursing License
BLS required within 90 days of hire
