Job Summary
Under general supervision and according to well‑defined policies and procedures, the MA/MR assists in the delivery of primary health and patient‑care management. Responsibilities include interviewing patients and/or patients’ representatives to obtain necessary personal, demographic, and financial information and identification; performing routine clerical, secretarial, and administrative tasks such as answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, data processing, computer data entry, and other record‑keeping tasks related to patient registration within the registration areas; assisting with the flow of patients from the waiting area to exam rooms; and performing preparatory work on patients to ensure efficient use of the physician’s time. Experience with medical terminology and practice management systems is preferred.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Patient Care Technician (PCT)
Certification required for injection administration and medication documentation/handling

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and skills. The minimum rate does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation.
