Overview
Arthritis Knee Pain Centers is looking to bring a motivated medical receptionist onto our team. As Care Coordinator II, you will be responsible for ensuring that our patients are well served and enjoy a long-term relationship with our practice. You will act as a liaison between the Revenue Cycle Center and the patients in our practice. The target is to work with our patients to ensure that they receive the treatment they need.

Responsibilities

Generate estimated patient financial responsibility

Converse with patients regarding coverage and benefits

Collect initial patient portion of finance responsibility

Maintain discretion regarding patient health information

Schedule treatments

Coordinate patient care

Properly route patient inquiries

Reconcile collections

Ensure administrative data collection accuracy

Skills

Friendly

Proven working experience as a medical secretary

Knowledge of medical office management systems

Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

Social perceptiveness and service oriented

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational and planning skills

Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software

Requirements

Medical receptionist experience

Knowledge of medical insurance benefits & coverage
