Clinical Services Coordinator

The Clinical Services Coordinator is responsible for managing the day‑to‑day operations of the clinic, including staffing, scheduling, sick calls, intake, pharmacy, and other related functions. They ensure that the clinic runs efficiently and quality care is provided to patients. The Clinical Services Coordinator works closely with healthcare providers, staff, and management to ensure that patient care services are delivered effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.

Experience: Minimum of one-year clinical experience; minimum of one-year correctional experience; minimum of one-year supervision/scheduling experience.

Licenses/Certifications: Must have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse within the State (minimum requirement); must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.

Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Services Coordinator oversees day‑to‑day clinic operations and coordinates the work of assigned staff.

They review nursing plans and medical records to ensure compliance with policy and state guidelines and monitor patient care plans, including patient teaching and self‑care.

The Coordinator identifies potential problems, establishes priorities, and initiates effective problem solving based on clinical knowledge.

They assist the Health Services Administrator in maintaining accurate staffing levels and statistics, as well as in the orientation and training of new employees.

The Coordinator maintains a professional atmosphere on the nursing unit and attends monthly staff meetings as directed by the Administrator.
