Compensation: $17–$22/hour, negotiable based on credentials and experience. Final rate will consider skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Schedule: Monday–Friday only (clinic is not open weekends). Availability for weekday shifts is required.

You’ll be the first point of contact for clients—creating a warm, professional experience while supporting hospital flow and excellent patient care. About The Practice: At Eye Care for Animals Avondale, we provide advanced veterinary ophthalmology services to pets and referring veterinarians throughout the Avondale community. Our board‑certified and associate doctors are dedicated to delivering the highest level of specialty care, education, and client support. What You’ll Do

Greeting clients and pets with warmth and professionalism
Assisting new clients with registration and communicating expected wait times
Answering phone calls, emails, and non‑medical client inquiries
Scheduling specialty appointments, diagnostics, and follow‑up visits
Coordinating with referring hospitals when needed
Creating appointment reminders and rescheduling missed visits
Maintaining accurate client and patient records in hospital systems
Keeping the front desk, reception, waiting areas, and exam rooms clean and organized
Reviewing invoices and ensuring accurate payment processing and cash drawer reconciliation
Supporting teammates and contributing to a positive, collaborative work environment
What We’re Looking For

Experience & Skills
Customer service experience required
2+ years of veterinary experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of veterinary triage preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced specialty setting
Comfort with basic accounting, payments, and cash handling
Team‑oriented, dependable, and professional
