Medical Receptionist

CenterWell Senior Primary Care, Augusta, GA, United States


As a Medical Receptionist you will report to the Center Administrator. This is an onsite position at our West Auusta Clinic.

The Medical Receptionist Is Responsible For

Greet patients and visitors, both in person and over the phone.

Schedule appointments, manage appointment calendars, and coordinate with medical staff.

Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy.

Ensure patient accounts are updated correctly, including collecting copay at time of visit.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

1 year or more of experience working in a healthcare setting preferred; candidates with a strong customer service background in retail, hospitality, call centers, etc., will also be considered.

Role is patient‑facing and part of the company’s TB screening program; screening for TB required if selected.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with value‑based care models.

Knowledge of medical terminology.

Experience with EMR systems (Electronic Medical Records).

Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Scheduled Weekly Hours
40 hours per week.

Pay Range
$38,000 – $45,800 per year.
