
Bilingual RN Case Manager (Field-Based) – Los Angeles, CA

Overview
VONA is seeking aBilingual Registered Nurse (RN) Case Managerto support injured workers throughout theLos Angeles metropolitan area. Thisfield-based rolerequires fluency inEnglish and Spanishto effectively communicate with injured workers, medical providers, employers, and insurance partners. The RN Case Manager will independently coordinate medical care, advocate for recovery, and support safe andtimelyreturn-to-work outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Independently assess injured workers’ medical conditions and develop coordinated treatment plans
Communicate fluently inEnglish and Spanishwith injured workers and care teams
Coordinate and attend medical appointments throughout Los Angeles and surrounding communities
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, employers, and insurance representatives
Serve as a liaison and advocate for injured workers during recovery and return-to-work
Recommend job duty modifications based on medical restrictions and functional assessments
Interpret and explain medical instructions clearly to injured workers and families
Ensure compliance with workers’ compensation regulations, HIPAA, and company policies
Maintainaccuratedocumentation, case notes, and monthly progress reports
Exercise independent clinical judgment on complex and evolving cases
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license(California or compact-eligible)
Fluent in English and Spanish –required
Prior experience incase management(workers’ compensation strongly preferred)
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical practices
Experience in hospital, rehabilitation, occupational health, or workers’ comp settings
Ability to work independently in a field-based role
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with diverse or multilingual patient populations
Knowledge of California workers’ compensation processes
