About the Role
The purpose of the Clinical Nurse Practitioner is to provide oversight for infusions being administered in our ambulatory infusion centers. Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Saturdays as needed. Service Areas: Asheville, NC; may float to other clinics as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program and hold an active Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in the state(s) of practice.
Experience in a family physician setting; possess strong knowledge of chronic disease states and current and emerging therapies.
BLS certification.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environments while under pressure in a calm manner.
Ability to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.
Essential Functions
Collaborate with nurses, NPs, and MDs to support patient care.
Provide nursing functions as a provider when needed.
Oversee the infusions being administered in the ambulatory infusion centers.
Travel to other centers when needed to provide adequate coverage.
Maintain strong knowledge of all existing and developing infusion therapies.
