Your Role as a Home Health Occupational Therapist
As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will provide skilled therapy services in patients’ homes to help them regain independence, improve daily function, and safely perform activities of daily living.
Responsibilities Include
Conduct patient evaluations and home environment assessments
Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders
Provide therapy focused on improving functional mobility and daily living skills
Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and safety techniques
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Supervise and delegate care to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) when appropriate
Document visits efficiently using AI‑assisted tools

Active, unencumbered Florida Occupational Therapist license
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
CPR certification

Home health experience preferred but not required
