Overview
Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Tee Lab - Full Time Days. For patients facing rare and complex cardiac conditions, New York-Presbyterian represents the highest level of care and caring. At New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, our advanced practice nursing teams maintain the highest level of patient function and safety, shaping the future of compassionate and quality care. This role is autonomous within a culture of shared governance and close collaboration. Join our Electrophysiology Device Clinic to deliver services to patients undergoing device therapy and follow-up.
Responsibilities
Deliver professional clinical services to approximately twenty patients per day, including initial assessments after device implantation and periodic device checks.
Care for patients who access care remotely via our technology or visit the clinic for in-person checkups.
Collaborate with a team of Nurse Practitioners and Physicians, making recommendations for patient care and adjusting plans as needed.
Provide clinical expertise while monitoring patients closely to ensure high-quality care and patient safety.
Qualifications
Required Criteria
Master of Science in Nursing; BSN
Current New York State Nurse Practitioner license
Current New York State Registered Nurse license
FNP board certification through ANCC or AANP
BCLS certification through the AHA
Preferred Criteria
Current or previous nursing experience in cardiology
Strong NP experience
Details

Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 13.5 hours each
