
Occupational Therapist

A growing rehabilitation services provider is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a skilled nursing setting. This role focuses on helping individuals improve, regain, or maintain daily living and work skills, promoting independence and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat short-term and long-term residents requiring occupational therapy
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Complete timely and accurate documentation (evaluations, re-certifications, discharges)
Supervise and support Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs)
Conduct routine screenings and quarterly evaluations for residents
Assist in developing and overseeing restorative nursing programs
Support insurance authorizations and appeals
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license
Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred
Strong communication, observation, and critical thinking skills
Compassionate, patient-focused approach
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
