
Registered Nurse

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Nurse at St Josephs Nursing Home located in Catonsville, MD. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing patient-centered care, including administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with healthcare teams. Additional duties include recording patient information, assisting with treatments and procedures, and educating patients and families on managing health conditions. Qualifications
Proven clinical nursing skills, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and handling medical equipment
Strong patient care skills, including ability to provide empathetic, compassionate, and personalized care
Proficiency in accurate documentation, maintaining patient records, and adhering to healthcare regulations
Strong communication and teamwork skills, including collaborating effectively with caregivers, families, and healthcare professionals
Understanding and compliance with safety protocols, infection control practices, and emergency procedures
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
BLS/CPR certification is required
Previous nursing experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus
Proficient in using electronic medical records systems
