Full‑time schedule with guaranteed 80 hours per pay period. Flexible and changing roster that may include overnight travel to various hospitals in the assigned region.
United Medical Systems, a national leader in mobile medical services, seeks experienced imaging professionals—MRI, Ultrasound, or Radiologic Technologists with interventional experience—to serve as MR Fusion Biopsy Specialists. Specialists travel to hospitals to deliver the MR Fusion device and support Urologists in the operating room during MR Fusion Prostate Biopsy procedures.
MR Fusion Biopsy is a revolutionary technique that enhances early and accurate detection of prostate cancer. Specialists work independently, preparing logistical and clinical needs for each facility and assisting the Urologist in fusing pre‑acquired MRI maps with live ultrasound in a 3‑D environment.
Responsibilities
Communicate with Urology offices to confirm upcoming schedules.
Obtain MRI mappings from radiology teams, which can be done remotely via the cloud system.
Travel to facilities to deliver equipment prior to procedures.
Provide technical and clinical support to Urologists during procedures.
Extensive training will be provided for operating the fusion device and ultrasound. If you enjoy new technology, further your specialization as an imaging professional, and work independently, this could be an ideal fit. Some overnight travel may be required for certain facilities.
