Job Overview
A full‑time faculty position is available in the Department of Surgery Division of Transplantation at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. The position is a two‑year fellowship accredited by the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) and focuses on solid organ transplant and vascular access. The role supports the university’s mission of excellence in education, research, and service.
Essential Functions
Perform clinical duties in general surgery, solid organ transplant, and vascular access under the supervision of attending surgeons.
Assist in the didactic and clinical education for the general surgery residency program and for medical students rotating in the Division of Transplantation.
Attend departmental and divisional meetings, including participation in grand rounds and morbidity and mortality (M&M) review.
Minimum Requirements
Active Ohio medical license.
Medical degree (MD or DO).
Completion of a five‑year surgical residency.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Office environment; no unusual physical or environmental demands.
