Overview
Performs customer service functions in the medical office setting.
Demonstrates the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and handle changing situations. Handles interactions with a variety of people, manages stressful situations, and resolves conflicts. Follows all requirements, regulations and procedures of licensing boards or agencies and complies with Benefis Health System policies and procedures.

Education/License/Experience Requirements
High School Graduate or Equivalent
Minimum of two (2) years medical office experience preferred.
Previous experience with health insurance and patient billing preferred.
Completion of medical terminology course required within 30 days of hire/transfer.
Completion of Clarivate Patient Access II Education Packet within 3 months of hire/transfer.
