Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures according to physician orders and established safety protocols
Prepare patients and radiology equipment; properly position patients to obtain high-quality images
Process radiographic images, ensure technical quality, and correctly route images to interpreting physicians
Operate radiology equipment and support teleradiology and fax workflows for image transmission
Maintain radiology records in accordance with privacy and documentation standards
Adhere to radiation safety guidelines, maintain ALARA principles, and ensure patient and staff safety during procedures
Requirements
Arizona State Radiology license (R) and ARRT Radiology certification (R)
Graduation from an AMA‑approved school of Radiology; at least 3 years of radiology experience
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Proficiency in operating radiology equipment and processing radiographic images; experience with teleradiology and fax systems
Ability to work in a busy surgical center setting with both inpatient and outpatient services
Eligibility to work a Tuesday–Friday 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. schedule and to support a 13‑week travel assignment
