Overnight Licensed Practical Nurse
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00/ per hour, DOE
Location: 77 Trails End Road Eureka, Montana 59917
Are you ready to create joy and heal generations? Chrysalis in Eureka, MT is seeking compassionate and skilled nurses to provide exceptional care to our students! At our therapeutic boarding school, you'll be the compassionate first responder when a student reports pain or sickness, assessing their needs and determining the best care plan. Your day will include checking vital signs, distributing medications, and keeping meticulous records. Whether accompanying a student to the clinic, communicating with parents/guardians, or coordinating lab draws, you'll be their advocate, creating a safe and healing environment. Responsibilities
Assess and respond to students' reports of pain or sickness
Determine the need for sick bed placement
Accompany students to clinics and communicate with parents and the leadership team
Check vital signs, disperse medications, and maintain accurate records
Monitor and chart students' mood, behavior, and affect
Correlate lab draws and administer TB tests
Count and track narcotics every shift
Communicate medical information to the Treatment Team and Psychiatrist
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum age of 21
Valid Montana driver’s license with a clean driving record
Active LPN license in the State of Montana
Ability to pass a Montana State background check
Maintain current First Aid and CPR certification
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Proficient in medical terminology, charting, and medication administration
Skilled in using standard nursing tools and assessing physical conditions
Familiar with word processing software and basic network navigation
Experience or knowledge of health insurance submission processes
Skill in assessing the physical condition of the clients
Skill in communicating medical situations accurately to students, parents, and staff
Willingness to receive professional feedback and pursue ongoing training
CAQH profile and NPI number required for credentialing
