Medical Center Cardiac Care Non‑Invasive Cardiologist
Medical Center is seeking a Cardiac Care Non‑Invasive Cardiologist. Ideal practice will include two Non‑Invasive physicians: one senior and one junior.
Responsibilities
Outpatient and inpatient role.
Designated clinic days and dedicated OR time for Cardiac Care procedures.
Standard office hours (4.5 clinic days): Mon‑Thurs 8am‑5pm; Fri 8am‑12pm.
Protected administrative time (4 hours per week).
Appointment scheduling: 20 min new / 20 min follow‑up (flexible within reason).
Call schedule: no more than 10 days per month in collaboration with Interventional Cardiac Care.
Provide patient consultations, stress lab testing, and overlap with interventional cardiology procedures.
Coordinate ultrasound workflow; 8 of 10 referrals require pre‑appointment ultrasound.
Manage post‑ultrasound appointments and follow‑up.
Collaborate with interventional radiology and facilities teams for cross‑referrals.
Work Environment & Staff
Support staff includes nurses, front‑office personnel, ultrasound technicians, experienced RNs with Cardiac Care expertise, and 3 interventional cardiologists and imaging specialists.
Office uses Cerner EMR.
Facilities: 2‑room Cath lab, 10 operating rooms, 14‑bed Cardiac Monitoring Unit.
Equipment: DSA, 256‑slice CT scanner, MRI (3T & 1.5T), in‑office ultrasound machine.
Hybrid room planned for minimally invasive procedures.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $775,000 – $825,000 (based on experience; negotiable).
WRVU bonuses; income potential up to $1 million.
Sign‑on bonus: $50k+.
Comprehensive benefits: health, dental, vision, supplemental insurances, retirement plan with 4% match and 6% contribution.
Student loan repayment assistance via PSLF program.
CME allowances: 5 days off per year / $3k per year plus cover costs of licenses, dues, etc.
