Clinical Research - Sample Management Specialist I

Job Responsibilities
Receive, verify, inventory and distribute study samples.
Prepare samples for analysis.
Maintain inventory of supplies and order when needed.
Support operation and maintenance of sample storage equipment and the environmental monitoring system.
Archive documents related to study samples.
Manage sample management duties including receipt, chain of custody, storage, transfers and disposition of reference materials, matrices, critical reagents and other items requiring defined storage conditions.
Ensure uncompromised integrity of materials and troubleshoot storage appliances.
Perform daily tasks and other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements
High school diploma.
No prior experience required for this entry level position.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and sample‑tracking software).
Experience working in a regulated environment is a plus.
