Full Occupational Therapist Assistant Job Description
Restore Independence. Transform Lives.
Occupational therapy in the skilled nursing setting is about one thing: helping people get back to the activities that define their lives. At TheraDynamics, our OTs in SNF settings work with patients recovering from strokes, hip fractures, cardiac events, and progressive neurological conditions. You will design creative, functional interventions that address ADLs, cognitive retraining, upper extremity rehabilitation, and safe discharge planning. Your work directly determines whether a patient goes home or stays in a facility — and we give you the tools, time, and support to make that happen.
What You Will Do
You will conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence, and collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP, and social work to ensure coordinated patient care. You will address self‑care skills, cognitive and perceptual deficits, home safety, adaptive equipment needs, and caregiver training. Your clinical reasoning will be valued, and your productivity expectations will be realistic.
What We Offer
Competitive pay: (based on experience and location)
5 weeks of Paid Time Off
Medical, dental, and vision insurance
401(k) with company match
Unlimited free CEUs through our online learning platform Medbridge
