
Respiratory Therapist Director

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist Director to lead our respiratory care team in Fairfield, OH. This full‑time, non‑exempt position reports to the Administrator and offers a competitive salary, bi‑weekly pay, and benefits for full‑time employees.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the respiratory therapy department.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards of care.
Manage budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
Foster a culture of quality, safety, and patient‑centered care.
Requirements
Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential with long‑term care experience.
Three or more years of experience in respiratory therapy, including at least two years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of respiratory care principles, practices, and protocols.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and drive quality improvement initiatives.
Nice to Have
Master's degree in respiratory therapy, healthcare administration, or a related field.
Experience with quality improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
Knowledge of electronic medical records and respiratory therapy information systems.
Certification in respiratory therapy management (e.g., RRT‑NPS).
